A Rebrand
In the few months since I’ve launched this Substack, a few things have changed in my life. Most importantly (and excitedly!) I’ve been accepted into my dream PhD program at the University of Washington and will be starting in the fall! So, I’ve decided to rebrand this Substack as a place to document my research and my PhD journey. Inspired by two, incredible scholars, Cait Murphy-Hurrell and Kaelyn Grace Apple | Historian, I want this space to be not only a place for reflection and memory, but to also be a place to demystify the PhD process. Academia should be more than just the ivory tower. Knowledge should be shared and accessed by anyone who is curious. If you would like to follow along, I would love to have you!
